Misael are Taira Hernandez are Mexican nationals, and live in a town called Arandas.  Here are only two evangelical congregations with 92 believers, comprising only .12% of the population.

Misael was the pioneer pastor of one of these churches, but has now joined OAC to pioneer this ministry of evangelism in Mexico.  His ministry will include leading churches out in open air evangelism, either to build up their congregations, or to plant new churches. In this whole area of Mexico, known as the Circle of Silence, there are less than 2% evangelical believers. The spiritual need is great, but the people are very responsive to the gospel.

Misael is 24. He and his wife, Taira, have two children.
